A misguided attempt at copying Emily

 

You can't threaten with obscurity 

those who never wished for fame

Nor with disqualifying in the first round

those whove never played the game. 

You'll never meet such hostility

As when you're right and true. 

Resistance compounds like ignorance

And the anomalies are so very few

The great unknown is a formidable foe

A chaotic puzzle indeed

But concern masked as wisdom is often

Equally fearsome to me.
