Meh

I've really hesitated quite often about posting personal thoughts or musings in this space. Im very prone to saying the most inappropriate things and regretting them later. And the embarrassment that ensues from remembering those cringe worthy moments has repeatedly lead me to refrain from even trying.

You see people in the past, of previous generations were quite artuculate about their feelings, emotions and they'd express it very elaborately in the form of lengthy letters written to loved ones. They'd wax poetic about everyday joys, simple things in life and ponder over deeper philosophical problems that they'd encounter diring hours of thought and contemplation.

I don't know if giving everyone a space to say whats on their mind is the wisest thing to do. Are we a product of the times we live in, the environment we grew up in, the thousands of wild opinions we get exposed to on the daily? How can you possibly think critically when every thing you tjink critically of is handed down to you after bein filtered out by a system that ranks those opinions based not on the value they offer, but the amount of outrage it caused or popularity it enjoys among the masses?

And this is probably why I've tried not to contribute, in my own mediocre way, to this vast encyclopedia of ignorance that we're taking part in, every day. I'd rather let the experts do the talking and listen to you, than have you suffer my soliloquy of superficial concerns.

But as time passed, i feel I've gotten to a juncture where keeping every thing to myself, the good the bad and everything in between, is probably not the best thing to do. If there's anything of benefit that might help you, then I'm obligated to not keep that to myself. Which is why, despite the often unnecessarily negative outlook i tend to have on things, ive decided to write as much as I can about things that might be of some real benefit or value. And if it has, do remember me in your prayers. Thats all i ask.

On the other hand, if i make mistakes, do extend the courtesy to correct me.

Having said that, I hope I'll updating this blog as regularly as I can.
