.
Blame us all you want,
Come at us with your claws,
Attack us while we mourn the years
of motherhood she lost.
They say rage can be ruinous,
Rancor can spell your end.
Revenge is a lonely road and we
Should aim to make amends.
Your words are misdirected,
Your ignorance plain.
Condemning the oppressed,
And Contempt for their pain.
The audacity to justify,
What you can't comprehend.
To stand by the sins of someone,
No sane person would defend.
Restraint is a struggle,
And it matters little how I feel.
Yet you kick us while we're down,
And complain that we don't heal.
I don't recall your presence,
Or ever hearing your voice.
When we were fleeing in terror ,
Cause fleeing was our only choice.
I don't remember seeing
Such worry and such concern
When he claimed his so called right,
To the sustenance she earns.
So spare me your "sincere" advice,
And your commanding tone.
Don't come meddling in matters that
Aren't strictly your own.
